The Sanctuary

sanct.jpg (16603 bytes) Imagine the altar where tortured souls used to bow and pray for release and forgiveness for their sins... hands clutching rosaries, and soft prayers murmered.

Even today, the sanctuary alter of the Anger cathedral is filled with hundreds of candles, still smelling of wax, lit in flickering candlelight; but gone is the repentive spirit. Picture secluded, velvet couches and chairs, tables here and there, small gatherings of patrons speaking in quiet voices as they gather to converse.  Such is the ambience of the sanctuary.

If the noise of the club becomes overwhelming, or your taste is more along the lines of a cigar, martini and intimate conversation, the sanctuary would be the perfect 'escape'.
