How do former halls of honor and righteousness turn into the lair of darkness? How does a place once so lit with glory fade into a dim sanctuary for lurking monstrousities? Her cries.....they were heard, sure as you hear this story now. Someone heard them, more than one, perhaps. Perhaps the elderly sister who turned a deaf ear while attending her duties. Perhaps a father, a parishoner.

Someone had to know. That man, once so trusted, choked her cries away, never to be heard again. And from that moment on, the Anger Cathedral earned its title, and was stripped of righteousness, and so it shall be, long after the stone walls have crumbled.

She is still there, held prisoner by her pain, the treachery..the deceit. She saw the place empty of life and holiness, saw it lay barren except for the dark spirits that roamed, eager to inhabit where once they were forbidden to be. She is free from her cold, stone grave. Her small, frail body lay down deep in the catacombs, concealed, her identity lost with the man's depravity, yet she remains in spirit, a constant reminder of the sins committed in the place.

Hailey saw her the first time she ventured into the Cathedral, seeking a place of refuge to call her own, intrigued by the gloomy silhouette of the castle and cathedral that lay abandoned in the rural utopia. The darkness called to her, and she answered, the vision of modern Italy as a mecca for the entities of the night urging her on, she claimed Anger Cathedral for her own, for Draven, for all of the kindred who, like the two of them, had become disenchanted with politics and aristocracy among their kind.

Hailey saw Miranda, and though Miranda chose not to speak at that time, she knew she was seen and heard by the gentle woman. She knew that there was someone who would finally hear her, someone to perhaps right the wrong, the terrible injustice that had been done in the Anger Cathedral......
